What products does GMI – PPED manufacture?
We design and fabricate pressure vessels, shell & tube heat exchangers, process skid packages, piping spools, cylindrical and rectangular storage tanks, and structural steel — for the oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and industrial sectors.
Is GMI ASME certified?
Yes. GMI holds the ASME "U" Stamp (pressure vessels) and ASME "S" Stamp (power boilers), plus National Board "R" (repair & alteration) and "NB" registration. We are also certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
Which materials can you fabricate?
Carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex (DSS), super duplex (SDSS), cladded steel, and rubber-lined materials — selected and certified to your project specification.
Can you handle design as well as fabrication?
Yes. Our in-house engineering team performs thermal and mechanical design from first principles to codes including ASME Div. 1 & 2, EN13445, PD5500, API 650, and TEMA — using HTRI, PV Elite, CAESAR II, STAAD.Pro, Autodesk Inventor, and more.
Where is your facility located and how large is it?
Our 23,194 sqm facility is in Dubai Industrial City 2 (DIC 2), Dubai, UAE, operating across three dedicated fabrication bays with overhead cranes and modern machinery.
Do you supply to ADNOC and other major clients?
Yes. We have executed significant projects awarded by ADNOC, and our operational footprint extends across the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Algeria.
What is your project execution process?
A controlled five-stage flow: (1) client engagement & estimation, (2) order processing & shop drawings, (3) planning & production with QA/QC at every stage, (4) site execution & logistics with MIR/WIR inspections, and (5) completion & handover with as-built documentation.
